This position also provides front counter support including, but not limited to answering phones, taking messages, directing calls, coordinating general school office operations and greeting and attending to school visitors, school staff and student requests.
Qualifications Applicants must possess and provide proof of a high school diploma or G.

certificate.
Three years of related experience providing clerical support in an office setting (preferably in a school environment) Required knowledge and skills:
o basic math, o English/writing including spelling, proofreading and grammar, o strong technology skills in the areas of office software, electronic communication, database systems, word processing, spreadsheets and office operations; i.

, phones, fax and copier, o conscientious attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all areas, o must maintain high standards of professional conduct and confidentiality at all times, o strong organizational skills to balance demands of a multi-tasking position, o must demonstrate punctuality, good attendance and strong work ethics in all areas.
Candidates must be able to:
o provide great customer service to students, parents, staff and the community.
o keep abreast of district policies, guidelines, handbook(s) and government regulations; o interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form; o write correspondences and reports; o learn different software systems; o multi-task, meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced work environment; o work cooperatively with teachers, community, students and staff.
Duties and Responsibilities 1.
Provide customer service to the community, staff and students, greet visitors, take messages, schedule appointments; uses proper business etiquette to answer telephone calls and emails.
2.
Prepare memoranda, answer telephones and operate modern office equipment.
3.
Communicate effectively both orally and in written form with customers/vendors, employees, students and other individuals to answer questions, disseminate or explain information and address complaints or concerns.
4.
Maintain accurate and appropriate records and files relative to the effective operation of the office; set up database(s), track files, purge files, collect relevant student data; Collect relevant student data, enter and update student data.
5.
Copy and distribute documents/forms signed by the principal, including but not limited to checks, invoices, professional development timesheets/expenditure reports.
6.
Maintain employee files.
7.
Welcome and process new employee:
set up new mailbox and employee file.
Submit request for email and phone/voicemail set up.
8.
As needed or requested, assist with hiring process by scheduling interviews, copying applicant information for interviewees.
9.
Complete in an accurate and timely manner essential office assignments such as payroll, accounts payable, etc.
10.
Keep informed of internal procedures.
11.
Knowledge of the district's software including Administrator's Plus, Sage, etc.
12.
Assist with general office duties including, but not limited to:
a.
Phone calls - making outbound calls, answering calls, taking messages and routing calls appropriately b.
Check identification of parent/guardian dismissing student and verify information against student's information on file.
c.
Process office mail, prepare and assist with bulk mailings d.
Scheduling appointments e.
Ordering supplies f.
Organize main office area for efficiency, safety and appearance.
g.
Administering first aid h.
Filing documents and correspondences in alphabetical and/or numerical order i.
Student records - shipping and receiving and maintaining immunization records j.
Assist Office Manager with other functions including, but not limited to:

Purchase Orders/Invoices ii.
Payroll iii.
Special events and projects (i.
e.
Parent-Teacher Conferences, Open House, report cards, etc.
) iv.
Adhering to deadlines set forth by the Office Manager, Principal or Education Service Provider 13.
Fulfill other duties at the request of the Office Manager, Principal(s) or designee.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
